Small but precise. A great, smaller travel mouse.7/16/2017 3:07:44 PM
Pros: Highest quality mouse. Has a side clicker for going backwards in web pages.
Cons: Too small for my tastes.
Ownership: more than 1 year
Good travel mouse for someone with small hands *updated5/6/2016 12:47:32 PM
Pros: Works on every surface I tried it on (regular mouse pad, the couch, my pants, shiny coffee table, glossy finish table at Panera bread). Enough range and sensitivity to play games from my HTPC 6 feet away (using a stiff-back mousepad sitting on the couch itself)
Cons: Some others here have stated battery life issues, I haven't had it long enough to notice this, I am still using the battery it came with and I bought it about a month ago. Not quite daily usage, though, so YMMV
Overall Review: Bought this to replace the mini-optical wireless mouse I had been using for years that was plagued by extremely short range. The last straw for me was it wouldn't work on the glossy table surface at Panera bread. The bluetrack tech in the WMM4000 works.
Update 5/6/2016: I am on my second of these now (the first died out of warranty with a common issue - the 'nano transceiver' overheats and kills itself, MS support says they are uniquely paired to each mouse, so have to replace the mouse and transceiver as a pair. The replacement mouse I purchased still tracks very well, BUT an additional issue has cropped up that the rubber on the mouse wheel is coming apart and has a visible seam, which protrudes and gets hung up sometimes when scrolling. Based on the first mouse dying and the second mouse having a wheel defect shortly into its life, I have adjusted my original review from 5 eggs to 3. When this one dies, I will not get another, if I can find something better.

I want to give it a 5, but ..2/21/2016 9:17:01 PM
Pros: I like the idea of having a cordless mouse on the desk as well as making it easy to take with the laptop. I used Eneloop rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
Cons: I wanted to give it a 5, but noticed the rubber on the wheel fell apart within 6 months. It should not happen. First time I've seen this at all on wheel mouse in over 20 years.
Overall Review: Knights of the old republic cutscenes. Could be a bad lot?
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
I love this mouse, for the most part8/23/2015 12:40:10 PM
Pros: Works on most surfaces. Batteries life seems ok to me. I turn off the power switch when I' m="" not="" at="" my="" computer.="" the="" magnify="" feature="" is="" one="" of="" the="" main="" reasons="" i="" buy="" like="" use="" these="" mice.="">
Cons: Rubber on scroll wheel can disintegrate after awhile. Tried storing transceiver in mouse once and needed a pliers to remove it.
I'm having a problem with Intellipoint software not recognizing the v1 nano transceiver on this mouse and my 3500 mobile mouse also, so no button customization is possible for me on WinXP.
I'm having a problem with Intellipoint software not recognizing the v1 nano transceiver on this mouse and my 3500 mobile mouse also, so no button customization is possible for me on WinXP.
Overall Review: My 4000 mouse with the v2 transceiver works fine with Intellipoint, but the v1 one does not, and I haven't found a solution. Very disappointing MS software / hardware won't even work together. Since I'm running this on WinXP, I doubt MS support would help me with this problem. I've read some have had luck getting a new transceiver though.
Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: Small size, intelligent storage of USB dongle, on/off switch saves on battery life, light but feels well built.
Cons: It's not free!
Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: got this mouse as a christmas present eons ago, is really good, i used ot to play games before i got my g502, do buy this mouse,
Cons: none
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Awesome product! Very quick and precise!
Cons: No cons. Perfect product.
Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: Fits nicely in my hand, lightwieght, but not a cheap feel.
Cons: Did not realize it was on until after I put the battery in, then I couldn't see to turn it off as the light from the mouse blinded me for a few seconds.
Overall Review: Fast shipping. Does the job well. I would buy another.

BestRechargeable Mice for Windows PCsWindows Central2019
Nothing is worse than having your wireless mouse die when you need it most, only to realize you're out of fresh batteries. If you use a rechargeable mouse with a built-in battery, though, you can just plug it in and charge away. Wireless rechargeable mice are also more eco-friendly and convenient. We believe you'll never go back to a mouse that needs external batteries once you find a great rechargeable one. These are our picks for the best available.
Surface style and versatility: Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse
Editor's pickThe Surface Precision Mouse is not-only rechargeable via micro-USB thanks to its Lithium-ion battery, which lasts up to three months on a single charge, it's packed with valuable features. It connects simultaneously via Bluetooth to up three different devices, its magnetic scrolling feature delivers precision that lives up to the mouse's name, and it has three customizable buttons that let you easily perform your most common tasks. Plus, if Surface grey isn't your thing, a non-Surface version is also available in black for a bit more cash.

It works on just about any surface, and its 'hyper-fast scrolling' makes it simple navigate lengthy site or documents. It connects via Bluetooth LE or using the included USB dongle. It pairs with three devices at once, and switching back and forth requires a single touch of a button, and you can cut and paste files between PCs. A full charge can last more than two months, and just three minutes of charging via the included Micro-USB cable delivers a day of use. It is also the most affordable rechargeable mouse on this list.
$49 at AmazonIt's about the trackball, y'all: Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse
The MX Ergo's funky trackball is designed to decrease muscle strain by up to 20 percent, and along with the customizable angle and tilt between 0 and 20 degrees, this is one comfortable mouse. The built-in Lithium polymer battery delivers up to four months of life, and one minute of charging via the included micro-USB cable can yield a day of power. The scroll wheel has a useful tilt feature. A dedicated 'precision mode' button lets you quickly change scroll speed and accuracy. And you can connect two devices at once, easily switch between them, and copy files on one PC and paste on another.

A 'hyper-fast scroll' feature lets you, well, quickly start scrolling really fast. The MX Master lasts more than two months on a single charge of its Lithium-ion polymer battery, and it takes just three minutes to power it up for a day of work using the Micro-USB cord that comes with it. It can also connect wirelessly via Bluetooth LE or the included USB dongle. The 4000-DPi precision sensor means the mouse should work well on any surface. And it's available in three colors: black, light gray, and teal, though the latter two are more expensive.
$72 at AmazonPowered-up gaming: Razer Lancehead Mouse
Razer's Lancehead is our favorite wireless, rechargeable gaming mouse. It's designed to reduce in-game data lag between it and your PC for a seamless wireless-gaming experience. It has mechanical mouse switches and an ambidextrous design, so it's south-paw friendly. With a 16,000-DPI sensor and hyper-fast acceleration, this mouse is PRECISE. And it utilizes the company's Synapse software to sync and save your settings. Battery life isn't exactly great, at just about one day, so you'll need to charge often, but it comes with and a Micro-USB cord for charging and a USB wireless dongle. Oh, and it supports 16.8 million customizable Chroma light options, of course.
$111 at AmazonCharge without wires: Logitech G903 Mouse
Microsoft Wireless Mouse Batteries
The G903 mouse can charge wirelessly while you game, using the Powerplay mouse pad (sold separately for about $100). It also charges via the included micro USB cable and connects via USB dongle and has customizable RGB lighting. Battery life isn't exceptional, and it gets about a day's worth of life on a charge (more if you don't use RGB lighting), but using the mat can alleviate all battery concerns. It's also quite light at just 110 grams, though an included weight can be added to give it a heavier feel. Tracking is accurate and responsive. The top and side buttons and scroll wheel are all exceptional, and the mouse itself is ambidextrous and ergonomically designed.
$110 at AmazonErgonomic and affordable: Lekvey Rechargeable Vertical Mouse
Vertical mice are designed to be more ergonomic and position your wrist and hand in a way that reduces strain. If you use a mouse for long periods at a time, or if you're experiencing symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, a vertical mouse like Lekvey's Rechargeable Vertical Mouse could help. It plugs in via a USB dongle, which can be stowed in the bottom of the device, so it does not use Bluetooth. Its feature set is basic, but you can adjust the mouse sensitivity up to 1,600 DPI.
$22 at AmazonIf we're making some suggestions
Rechargeable mice have advantages over their non-rechargeable counterparts, including the facts that they're more eco-friendly and don't require that you buy (and then discard batteries) every time you run out. They can save you money on batteries, and as long as you remember to charge them up regularly, they can be more convenient, too.
We appreciate and vouch for every mouse featured in this collection. You won't be disappointed with any of them. But if we had to pick just one to recommend, it would be the Surface Precision Mouse because it's packed with valuable features, the battery lasts a long time, and we're just big fans of the Surface look and feel. However, if you're looking for a wireless rechargeable travel mouse, you'll love the MX Anywhere 2S from Logitech. And if it's a gaming mouse you need, you'll surely find a friend in Razer's Lancehead mouse.

Most of the Bluetooth devices come with their software to change default actions and provide information about the device’s battery status as well. For instance, I have installed Logitech SetPoint software to know the exact status and change default button actions of Performance MX mouse (MR0007), which I bought a few years ago (an excellent mouse at its price range).
The Logitech SetPoint even sends out a notification when the battery level is low, although there are indicators on the mouse to display approximate battery level. The same is the case with Bluetooth devices from other manufacturers as well.
The good thing is that you don’t need to open your mouse, keyboard or that Bluetooth device’s software to check its battery level when it’s connected to your Windows 10 PC.
If you have connected a Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, headphone or another device to your Windows 10 PC, you can now check the battery level of the external device with ease.
Windows 10 RS5 build 17639 and later builds show you the battery level of your external Bluetooth device. This means that, you get the exact battery level status of the external Bluetooth device.
Please note that Windows 10 can show the Bluetooth device’s battery level only if the device supports this feature. All devices might not support this feature.
Check the battery level of Bluetooth devices in Windows 10.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings app > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
Step 2: You should now see the battery level next to the device name.
Obviously, only devices that are currently connected to your PC will appear in the devices list.
If Windows 10 is not showing the battery level of the Bluetooth device, please check if you are running 17639 or above builds of Windows 10 RS5.

Also, update the device driver to the latest available version and check again. You can also contact the device manufacturer to check if it supports this new feature of Windows 10.
Wireless technology is a boon to those who hate keyboard and mouse cables as much as I do. That said, short battery life is a big problem for such mobile devices. So, in today’s post, I will be highlighting some tips and tricks to improve the battery life of a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Improve Battery life of a wireless keyboard and mouse
1 – Turn off the devices when not in use
The first and foremost tip to remember is turning the wireless devices (keyboard and mouse) off when not in use. Doing so improves battery life of a wireless keyboard to great extent. You can use the manual turn off method to switch off your mouse/keyboard when you are done for the day.
If you observe closely, there is a small on/off switch at the bottom of your wireless mouse that you can use to manually turn it off. (UPDATE based on comments: Not all devices may have this switch).Using this button is important because even though your wireless mouse is left idle for few minutes or hours, it is not switched off completely. They go to sleep when there is no activity noticed but wake up immediately as soon as they are pushed aside or moved around inside your bag or in your hand—and this movement can use a lot of power!
If you do not have a good memory and often forget to turn-off the devices you can set a reminder, here is a nice tip courtesy Labnol. This is a bit tricky, but works! Just visit this page and enter some text in the empty ‘WRITE HERE’ field. The tool will convert the text into an MP3. Then, hit the ‘Listen’ button and the computer will speak your words in natural sounding female voice.
Next, download the MP3 file, go to Control Panel > Change system Sounds > Exit Windows and browse to the downloaded file to set it as the reminder for turning off your mouse and keyboard. Do the same for ‘Windows Log off’ – that’s it!
In the graphic below you can see the CMDLet Nouns for each level and what kind of data can be worked with at that level. This is not discounting all of the binaries and file system objects that exist on each of the SharePoint servers, but the meat of SharePoint exists in SQL and is accessed through a robust.NET API.I find the best place to start is to determine what kind of SharePoint data you are interested in working with, and if you are dealing with a large amount of data, decide what kind of data store would be best to use to store that information for later use. At a base level, SharePoint is made up of a configuration database, some service application databases, and a bunch of content databases. Sharepoint online set header compact powershell.
2 – Keep keyboard away from large metal surfaces
A keyboard does not have an On/Off switch. The keyboard should be placed closer to the computer, within 30 cm (12 in), and away from interference from other electrical or wireless devices, especially speakers and cell phones. Moreover, it should not be used on large metal surfaces.
3 – Keep Mouse & Keyboard at the same level surface
If you are using both, the mouse and the keyboard simultaneously make sure they are within 100 cm (39 in) of the computer and on the same level surface. Gauss rifle mods fallout 4.
4 – Use Mouse on light-colored surfaces
Always use the mouse on a light-colored surface or preferably on an opaque surface. Using the mouse over a dark-colored surface such as black or dark blue surface can cause the battery to drain faster. Also, never use the mouse on a glass surface, because tracking sensor in a wireless mouse uses more power on such surfaces causing the depletion of the battery at a much faster rate.
5 – Use keyboard more where necessary
Use keyboard where necessary! The more you move your mouse, the more power it uses. That’s because it has a laser which consumes more power. So, If you know some great keyboard shortcuts and can use them in place of mouse cursor use them. This will greatly reduce the work pressure on your mouse thereby helping you get more life out of your mouse batteries.
6 – Restrict Mouse-intensive activities
Spend less time doing mouse-intensive activities, such as browsing the Internet and when replacing batteries, use alkaline batteries. Although AA batteries aren’t highly expensive, I would recommend getting rechargeable batteries and a charger. It costs much less than getting AA batteries replaced quite often.
7 – Check the Keyboard/mouse battery-level indicator
When on a Windows Desktop, hover the mouse over the mouse or the keyboard battery-level indicator in the System Tray.
- Green – indicates a full battery.
- Yellow – indicates the battery is half full.
- Red – indicates it is time to change the battery.

There is a nice document at HP.com that you may want to read.
8 – Place Wireless devices always near computer
When the wireless devices are not in use, always store them nearby your computer.
There is no magic formula for improving the battery life of a wireless keyboard and mouse drastically but keeping these tips in minds will surely help you to improve the same to some extent.
